My lover is an SA victim and they vented about their experiences to our friends in hope for validation and help from them, unfortunately they did not get that but instead our friends doubted their experiences of it happening, i dont know what made them doubt about it.. Maybe the story was too complicated, it didn't make sense. They kept asking things for "proof".
that is so insensitive especially bc for victims of SA it's hard to speak up bc u fear that people won't trust u...

Is your friend group a court perhaps? Why do they need proof?? Do you also need a lawyer and paperwork to talk about your problems??
Even if I doubt that someone is telling me the truth about their trauma, my first instinct is just to keep that to myself and offer them confort. You literally lose nothing doing so.
If they are close friends and neither you and your partner have any history of lying to them the only reasonable conclusion is :

Wth that's shitty of them to do so, you don't ask an SA victim that whether you believe them or not... What proof they wanted?? You should get new friends. I'm sorry that happened to your s/o. They don't deserve that, if not reported yet I encourage them to do so, so that justice can be served.
We literally have no history of lying and my partner hardly ever vents. It's not even constant for her to just be "seeking attention" and I'm so disappointed and yet somehow we're the bad guys for "lying" about stuff like this
