It comes from an IF universe where Hatano was canon before Hatano was incorporated into canon. Only in this universe the MC calls Hatano by his name and Hatano works as a part timer in a cat cafe. The canon Hatano doesn’t seem to be a part timer (yet?) and the mc doesn’t call him by his name .
Also this story is from drama vol 2 which also comes with a bonus track where this manga is voiced from the main character ‘s pov. He was trying to stop Hatano’s flag all the way. His logic was just wrong.

Abt the Dec 24 update, I already sent the raws to muffin, but they are a very small group (I think only 2 people are working on it?) so the update will take a while! It sucks that you guys cant see the raws ╥﹏╥
