I really don't see how Helena was in the wrong for this last one, it was super abusive of the prince and his mother to weaponize Helena so that they could hurt Eris. That is so psychologically messed up, it just shows how little they see her as a person, they didn't consider her feelings at all they just used her to cause someone else pain even though that goes against everything Helena, as a person, stands for. I mean, we all already know that these people are scumbags, but this is some next-level asshattery.
it has been shown time and time again that she is unable to reject the prince and his mother's demands because of her status, so her going to that ball was unavoidable. she knows that it is wrong, but she is also trapped.
I just think some of these comments are unjustly demonizing Helena when it is clear she is just pathetically being thrown around by the whims of those with power.
isn't the story just making him out to be this omnipotent, invincible figure at this point? he never faces any challenges busty women have been flocking to him since he was an actual infant.
There isn't really anything interesting for him to overcome. it just isn't very interesting anymore... :(
true true
Right? It's always "you're amazing" while looking at him with sparkly eyes. There's not even palace intrigue, he never hides his strength of secrets... he feels like a perfect puppet.
PS: I also find it annoying that the chapters seem incomplete sometimes
Well he is a prince so women will flock to him and his goal differs because before his goal was to get more power and status to secure and solidify his position and if possible reach a higher position but now he is just looking for powerful people and the development of his kingdom. But I do hope he have a good character arc and put obstacles like everyone noticed he lacks.
Right, my problem isn't that he's popular- it's that he got there with little to no effort. It was like everything fell into place for him. I know that he's smart and powerful but it's to the point where there is no challenge in the story. It's a bit stagnant seeing the same plot repeat each arc. I want to see him overcome a challenge and triumph, you know?
Yeah I agree I also want a plot change and see him overcome obstacles like I know these type of mangas are just powerful mc but even them need to be reminded that they are human
Yea I agree with the no effort part, the story basically makes him to be the chosen one, all his powers were basically borrowed from his summons(?). The only thing that's praise worthy is his way of thinking and his care for the people :/
