Honestly, I don't get the hype. I'm done reading this but I don't feel much good. It's a very uncomfortable feeling, and tbh I lowkey hate Caesar. I feel like there is no respect, understanding or anything in this relationship other than sex. Caesar has all the red flags you can think of - rape, murder (he shot mc 3 times), kidnapping, being controlling, killing and hurting people as he pleases (even children in the begining). The story seems incomplete and kinda not well written. The art style is crazy good tho.
I get your point and I really do respect it. But Caesar is a character that's not meant to be liked, and even lee-won knows that himself. If you're going to jump into stories with plots like these while maintaining your expectations of how relationships usually are, then it's no surprise you'd be disappointed. Imo this is one the best stories I've read plot-wise, I think it's already well-known that Caesar is apathetic and it fits right onto his entire "mafia" character. Someone who had people constantly attempting to assassinate him since he was a kid isn't expected to grow up without any psychological issues. Many readers tend to force Caesar into a specific standard they've made for a top that's #regret #assholeatfirstbutchanges. He's consistent with his apathetic personality all throughout the story because truth be told, Caesar is a man-child, he needs to be taught basic human decency because as a child he was taught how to survive instead. This also coincides with Mikhail's reason why he left Lee-won and Suyeon back then, because he knew he'd have to raise lee-won to something similar to Caesar.
Completely agree!!! I started off really liking this story but after the lomonosov reveal it just took a turn for the worse. Their relationship dynamic started of good not perfect but they were trying to work it out despite Caesar’s upbringing but then their relationship became just straight toxicity, obsessive, and lust I was genuinely disappointed

Don't scare me you people, I'm already on edge about about that grey-haired bastard
