I genuinely can’t with this fandom bc most fans are just tj glazers trying to put their fingers down Jo fans throats. Like I’m tired of “team tj this team Jo that” this story is about Ian healing. I do believe that TJ and Ian loved each other once but they both became “monsters” as Ian describes after the car sex scene. They feed into each other. Ian doesn’t want to live that life anymore. And in the beginning of the story tj buys the house he wants to live in with Ian. But then we see one of his gang men saying Ian would hate this. TJ is holding onto whatever he can get. In the music video on DOYAK YouTube account we see tj reaching for Ian’s hand and instead of waiting for Ian to come to him he grabs him by the wrist. TJ is a very complex character and I do believe he loved youngwoo but he’s not willing to let him be his own person. He wants to control him so that he doesn’t get away.
On Ian’s hand he is trying desperately to get better and have a normal life. As a fandom people hardly see the true horrible things that Ian has went through. Not to say TJ hasn’t but Ian has genuinely lived a nightmare. I think the story of him and David is genuinely devastating. All Ian wanted was to be happy. We know that David raped him and that’s when his drug addiction got bad. Ian realized he loved TJ after he killed David and they started to feed into TJ’s obsession and Ian’s recklessness after they got “together”. They don’t know how to love each other outside of animalistic ways. Ian realized that when he went to prison. He decided he wanted to be better but TJ doesn’t want to mature. In conclusion though Ian is the character who needs to be aknowledged more. I think he needs to be with Jo. Jo has opened up a new life for him and given him the tender love that him and TJ couldn’t give each other. I really don’t have a huge preference but I am more Jo leaning but I wouldn’t be upset if TJ was endgame if executed correctly. In short I think TJ and Ian’s story is tragic more than anything. If we see more of tj I would honestly love to see him HEAL not get a new love interest if he and Ian don’t end up together but I want to see him get better. Or if tj and Ian are endgame I would like to see him truly try to change for Ian. But at the end of the day I want all of the characters fo be happy. especially my Shayla Ian
