the drama, the suspense, the flow, the characters. it's all so good. i love how mc is not so cunning, but not so naive, she's resilient that's for sure. it's really nice to have something that isn't "too much".
and the fact that she's willing to sacrifice herself for the sake of her family and the goal she's willing to achieve is really... i don't really have the word to describe it. like it's the mindset of "to hell with my dignity and to hell with my reputation, i'll drag myself down to the pit of hell if that's the price of pulling you down to it with me."
and i really love the use of ml here, to make him having a same enemy as her, an interest that she could help him with. i really love it when they start with the main goals and benefits in mind rather than doing it for love, because to be for real, it's not realistic that he would fall in love with her just after a few interaction then decide to help her, which some manhwa/manga with this trope always mix up, interest≠affection. oh and it's not just because of amusement for him, because by working together, he actually benefited from it, really smart.
i'll continue to see how this goes, it has a great potential and start.

the love of parents to their kids are often, normally, unconditional. to care, to nurture, to become someone your kid could look up for and depend. there are so many things parents must do for their child, and it's not easy, it's never easy.
rider, AIA, miria, and the others, are willing to learn, willing to care for such little creature, our baby mori. such unconditional love that transcends kinds and species. and how Mori reciprocates it, it is so pure and so full of love.
i actually really lost it when i saw rider saying that he doesn't want mori to live like him, that he wants what's best for mori. when mori was trying to remember the word mom that depicts miria, rider, and the other that had take care of him, and taught him everything. and when miria pulled out data of her people claiming they can fit the mother, aunt, grandmother role and how they can take care of mori. ㅠㅠ and how miria said that perhaps she wouldn't understand what mom actually is even in the future, but whatever it is that mori think of, she's willing to give it all. man, i love this so much.

i don't get how y'all saying she's stupid for not running away or stepping up. don't u guys get it? she can't– even if she wanted to, etienne is a duke from district one. who knows what can he do to sioanna and her nephew. plus, where else would she go? she got no money, her nephew is sickly and her personal maid is already old and helped so much despite her not being a noble anymore. she's of a noble before she's of a commoner, abiding to etienne's wish to become his mistress, although she didn't want to, is the better and easier choice she could've choose than whatever etienne could've done had she not comply to him. in a word, it's dangerous, risky.
and to those who said to use etienne feelings as her leverage in the relationship, i doubt things are that simple. with their dispute in the past and how etienne treats sioanna now, the power shift, sioanna clearly doesn't have anything to power against etienne. plus, she got a kid (her nephew) now, a responsibility. she can't act like how she did in the past, being careless. and also, in term of power imbalance, it'd be more frowned upon had sioanna eloped with him, rather than him making her his mistress. sometimes you guys forgot the time and background these manhwa based on. oh and also y'all bitch about how sioanna is all bishy blushy with etienne while asking her to act up and ask where her freaky personality goes; girl.. that's the freaky part, to still have feelings for etienne despite all. and what, do you really expect her to become so cold and have zero feelings towards the guy she used to fancy?
communicate? she voiced her feelings about not wanting to be the mistress nor getting back together but clearly, there's no communicating with a man that's as insane as etienne. at this point, she was just caught in a crossfire between etienne and his mother conflict with no means of getting away.
tl;dr, stop blaming all problem on "lack of communication". sometimes–most of the time even in these kind of manhwa, there are times where communication is impossible when the other person is not right in their fucking mind. just too fucking obsessive, and because they just can. have all the authority and power, because they're "above the law"
