There is so much sexism in the comments its baffling. First the FL is not the only "weak" character. Yoomin is weak, the secretary is weak, hell all his friends are weak yet the FL is the only one yall are complaining about. She is fun, complex, and has done nothing that would equate to such unreasonable hate. Honestly, this is not surprising because almost every webtoon like this have massive hate trains against any women who have story lines with the ML. Sometimes the hate is justified but this time I really think you guys should reevaluate why you really dislike the FL
LITERALLY I bet it's not even about her being weak, it's probably because she's a female, however nearly every character in this manhwa is weak compared to Jinho, but as long as it's a female who's a potential love interest all of a sudden it's a crime like tf??
They dislike her because she isn't a guy. That's it. Honestly, all these hate comments on her are really unwarranted and just toxic. Is it any wonder why we bl readers get a bad wrap?
Im just going throw my hat into the ring but although the hate may not be justified, its really getting tiring to find romance subplots when you came for action and Mc's development towards his established goals. Sometimes romance does aid in the Mc's adventures but the tags indicate that romance will not be a major plot point, but since it looks like its going to be a subplpt, should be added since it really does effect the reader's experience.
Furthermore, (I've only gotten to the point where the actress is introduced and part of the pizza place arc and read this a long time ago so correct me if I get it wrong) the actress according to some of the comments, has been really pushy and invasive to the MC (i cant confirm this but her behavior of her attraction to him just because of his physical appearance and different attitude towards her irked me). It really did feel like it came out of no where.
Blonde hair girl was established as his past crush and was shown the have character development so from what I remeber, no one really was against her the comments. She seemed to be respectful to him and understood he carried too much in his plate to handle a relationship. Ms. Actress on the other hand seems to be getting some bad rep since its feels like she has nothing to do with main storyline. Although she could help in the social aspect there was really no need to make it romantic, a friendship built it first would've made her 10x more likeable since in my opinion she's funny and outgoing, she's a good character and ambitious towards her goals. They honestly would make a good duo but her always asking him to go out with her with expectation that will turn romantic when Mc clearly shows no interest beyond friendship really annoys me.
It seems there are some rumors that she's reincarnation but we'll just have to wait and see. Tbh I dont find her that bad or clingy but she's putting unrealistic expectations out of Mc. Mc will do it since he's asking her a favor, but sometimes I wish she could do it without expectation to see her side of genuinely caring for him rather than to look good in front of him.
Although yes, most of the community has a thing against these types of female leads since it partially ruins the action aspect they were expecting and most people won't like her personality outright since it can be perceived as clingy, overly persistent, obnoxious, and inconsiderate to the MC. This community attract mostly BL readers so yes there are biases towards MxM, but the female lead in this story is not the best catalyst for people to start accepting romance in action stories.
I can see why many say they would prefer a romance with Yoomin (i think blonde ponytail sorry if name is wrong) for one MxM biases (also representation in this kind of story would actually be awesome but moving on) and two because he actually develops with Mc. We see this student getting bullied to the point he has a gray line of what he should do due to his situation to a person who pursues his goals, more bright and friendly, and most importantly seems to actually care of Mc. Not saying the actress doesn't care, but her personality and attempts to get together with Mc can easily blinds that fact.
Overall she isn't that bad, but first impressions are important, and let's say with previous experiences in other action stories and her ambitious attitude won't sit well at first until you get used to her. Especially since many feel like she doesn't have a key role in Mc's development or main plot. She feels like she was put there solely for romance which isn't ideal in an action story. We can't convince previously made biases to suddenly change. Anyways this why opinion on the topic im not saying any of them are right though and just offering some perspective. I understand people being apprehensive of romantic subplots in action webtoon but I still dont feel it justifies the hate she is getting. I find that authors who write action webtoons/mangas are terrible at writing female characters let alone romantic interest and so yes at times it get annoying but, I dont feel it justifies the intense hate I see the action community has towards fl's. I swear the fl could sneeze and she would get more hate than the literal villain of the story. My point is no matter what she does whether she is aggressive, passive, nice, weak, strong, etc. There is allows a hate train against the fl. I honestly do not mind who he ends up with (let's be honest it's not going to be yoomin because homophobia) but I just think people should reflect on how they speak about a FICTIONAL woman because goddamn some of these comments were ruthless.
Lmao honestly yeah I tend to ignore the comments and just move on in the story if I like it and give the romance a chance but maybe its because I havent read any of those comments yet or maybe I'm just too used seeing them that I don't take them in all the way. I do see some female leads get some good representation in action stories but it was mostly because it felt she had a purpose. I forgot which novel it was I think it has an adaption but people were actually excited the meet the female lead since she was able to stand with the Mc. Like if there was going to be romance, I cant expect to be able to imagine the plot without the female lead and have literally nothing big change. It will be difficult before it will start being more acceptable since I know how much people liked this and how much disappointment there was finding out it has a romance sub plot that almost had nothing to do with the story. I can only imagine the original novel language readers though. Thanks for bringing this up since I honestly didn't find romace too bad in action stories but there were plenty of times I was hitting my head against the wall and it still doesn't justify fully going ham on a character that hasn't done anything remotely wrong than just exist lol.
Maybe it's just me but I like the crazy possessive stories as much as I like the sweet ones. I like the contrast between the two stories so I quite like Matthew.

At this point the complaining is getting annoying, like it's been 50 chapters just stop reading. Like this is obviously smut with very little plot, PWP if u will, like who is forcing y'all to keep reading??
Also these people has never read author note or smth bcz if you know what the creator is trying to make them you shouldn't yap it loud about. If you don't like it then just leave
