what she's asking about is their proximity bruh, the listening thing is a metaphor about 2nd chances cs it also pertains to joe and kanna's relationship
I think it's about Koga-san's face inching bit by bit to Oosawa-san's and she's asking permission or like consent if Oosawa-san is fine with the level of face closure. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
The story is obviously very cute but I also appreciate how the author do not make it inappropriate for their age (unlike many authors) so I want to point it out!!
