Can you explain what is so terrible and unforgivable Jiwon ever did to DG?
I'm trying really hard to understand what others see that I don't even though I've read this story multiple times already.
I can only remember 3 cases where Jiwon didn't treated DG well and he admitted to all 3 of them took responsibility felt really guilty and genuinely bad for those that is why he tried his best to give everything that DG wanted as compensation.And so DG has long forgiven Jiwon for his mistakes then and it's all in the past.
Besides DG never mentions any of those incidents as reasons why he doesn't want to be with Jiwon anymore.
He doesn't call the abuse.His only problem is that Jiwon won't return his supposed feelings of love.
I really believe everyone in the comments in awfully exaggerating about Jiwon being bad and about the extent of how much DG "suffered" because of him.
Honestly the first sex without lube was a fail.And that was over with everything eventually went smoothly and DG enjoyed his best possible dreamy first sexual experience and all the more so with his idol for so long.
The bdsm sex toys trial went wrong twice but again apology and compensations were properly given besides Jiwon immediately stopped when DG felt extremely uncomfortable and we could see from his facial expression how he regretted his mistakes and how willing he was to make up for those.And again DG never once mentioned those incidents nor once did he seem further traumatized by them.
He again was only sad because he just felt his "feelings for sunbae growing stronger and stronger." And "I wish sunbae would feel the same".
He was thinking like that and not talking to Jiwon about his true feelings and thoughts further hurting himself.
The things previously mentioned had been Jiwon's mistakes and objective bad behavior even though yet again DG has the chance to stand up for himself or abandon Jiwon or even report him to the police for abuse and rape but he never did.
However Jiwon not talking to DG ignoring him and not communicating with him unless only for sex are NOT abusive nor bad behavior but simply part of the deal.
He made it clear that he wouldn't necessarily be all nice to DG.And the guy was OK and agreed to it.
Jiwon was rather considerate and even asked DG again whether he loves him or not.He wanted to show him that there was no room for further development.
DG once again lied and even after Jiwon had once again made things clear DG still insisted on "wanting to know where I stand with sunbae" but Jiwon had already told him clearly in ch.36 that "if you love me I can't live up to your expectations.Better leave now and go find someone else" what else did DG want to know to make sure?
His friend was not much of a help either since he also has never had a serious relationship before and he is on the promiscious side of gay and his understanding of love is questionable.
Everyone praises Chan woo or whatever his name is bad the truth is the guy is rather all over the place than anything good to deserve being taken seriously for.
Basically all he says to DG is to act selfishly and be sneaky and just try and seduce Jiwon with sex and wrap him up.DG says that he doesn't seem an in there for him.And that he suspects there is someone else Jiwon likes.
Chan woo then simply tells him to just compromise on being just a sex partners as well.
Before finally suggesting DG to give up on Jiwon he has told him about the possibility of Jiwon having been hurt by love in the past therefore his behavior so obviously DG could try approaching him and make Jiwon trust him and probably in time he could had given them being a real couple a chance but even though DG now knows all these things he still not only is in denial about how clearly Jiwon had made things between them but DG also doesn't make any efforts to try and get close to Jiwon instead he just agrees to another halfhearted sex encounter and he selfishly and totally on the wrong instead of being a responsibilitresponsibile young adult he gets drunk and ruins everything.
To me the shit that DG pulled to Jiwon all the time he was not honest about his feelings are equal if not worst from what Jiwon had done to DG.
At least Jiwon hasn't manipulated DG nor had he used any of his mistakes to guilt trap him basically force him to give more than he was ever willing to give.
DG has hurt Jiwon equally if not more with what he did that night.
Jiwon was only lucky because he had worked hard to built a strong bond with his audience that is why they forgave the scandal otherwise his career would had been over all because of DG.
Hot to mention that Jiwon except for money and most importantly does the show just to feel love and accepted by the masses and DG almost ruined that because he is way to selfish and all this time DG is the only one who is ultimately responsible for his own suffering and people praise him and ender all of his mistakes under the excuse of supposed "character development" like Jiwon being potentially destroyed or suffer even more should really be the base of DG's "character development"?
Anyways I'm probably not going to write any more "essays" on BJ Alex and how irrational and hateful the audience is being towards Jiwon for literally no reason.And praising DG again for no reason.
Please think a bit.
Jiwon has done same or LESS things wrong than DG throughout this entire story yet everyone hates him but love DG who just suddenly had an outburst demanding things.He has no right to do that when he has been lying for so long and never having approached Jiwon seriously ever before.
He felt very entitled to demands things and to demand that Jiwon takes into consideration his "feelings" though he has never been clear about them before.
Besides DG was being beyond dramatic because he and Jiwon had literally been only in ONE halfhearted compensation date.And before that they only met once a week only for sex and the entire thing only lasted for a few months with many long breaks in the middle.
So in conclusion is not OK to blame Jiwon,to hate him,call him names and exaggerate everything making him seem like a monster.
And DG has been a little bitch so far and now has escalated to a massive bitch.
So much of a "character development"
Anyways all of you are being extremely unfair.
That's my final take most likely.
Because really all the comments make me feel bad and I don't know what is wrong with all you people and how can you be so blind like this?

Because for you it's easy.You keep saying Jiwon is an asshole using only a few very simplistic arguments and everything is peachy.
Just because you happen to be in the majority hating on Jiwon and praising DG and only blaming Jiwon for everything doesn't make you right though.
