I think it could have been better, somehow I feel it was lukewarm all along, which is not a bad thing, but it didn't make me feel the thrill.
AND don't know why but the sex scenes between these two gave me secondhand embarrassment hahahaha I don't know I never felt their passion nor their love. It was weird.
A solid 7.
Why are all Korean semes like this? Why is this a trend? A big muscle guy with 0 personality, just possessiveness.
No talk, no story, no plot, just miscommunication, possessiveness, and forced sex.
When art-styles like this one pop up in my recommendations, I tend to give it a go if they have a high rating... but it's always like this :/
The uke is a pushover that can muster two coherent words, and the seme is a possessive fucker who also can't muster two words.
Their whole story will fall apart if the main characters talk, that's how I know their story sucks.
Dropping this
IKR! Like, I hate that these korean authors start with toxic shit, and no plot, and then, out of nowhere they tell the background story and is always abuse, bullying, and poor little seme has been suffering that's why he's such an asshole as an adult.
And there's always loan sharks and the father that left a debt behind.
I swear these authors lack originality, or at the bare minimum they lack basic story telling. They learn how to draw and they think they can make a story as long as the seme is "hot" and has big muscles, big dick, there's drama like hitting and debts, and the uke is velcro-ed to the seme for no real reason, and the uke is entirely unable to stan up for himself.
A friend of mine told me to kept reading as "it gets better", and I just reached the school arc and nah, it's just the same.
Girl yesterday I was about to read some new yaoi and THE WAY I ROLLED MY EYES when it said “mc life is so miserable his family have debts, and some rich dude reached out to him so he could work for him” nah bc I’m fucking pisseddddddddddddd. Like it’s literally always the same. You’re so fuckinf right. And the ukes are so f annoying, even here people love him for some reason but they’re always so naive that it doesn’t f makes senseeeeee like. Immmmm so madddddddd. And why are people romanticising those relationships like how is him shoving his dick to his neck out of fuckinf nowhere after they haven’t talked for 10 years is romantic???? Like please send help.
HAHAHAHA THAT scene, girl I swear!! I.HATE.IT
Why the fuck did he shove his dick like that?
Like, ok, he has been in a fucking breaking point for like... all his life, idk, but you have to be a REAL asshole to just push your dick to someone you're not even sure if has any sort of attachment, and at that point we had NOTHING we didn't know any background... not that it made it better after the background but at least I could have expected him being an asshole.
These quick "will show big muscles, big dick first" trend is fucking annoying.
And indeed, people either romanticize these stories or they go like "I don't care, seme is hot, uke is hot". Yaoi has turned waaaay too superfluous for my liking.
Honestly, reading through. It still did not make sense to me, he just exposed his d like this without them really talking about their past, or any feeling of longing…And they certainly did not have any kind of sexual tension between them. He just did that like it makes sense Also, seeing their backstory, It feels like he just was obsessed with the idea of having a friend, And someone that cares about him. They started those kissing and making out session only so he could have some secret between them, not bc he was sexually attracted to him to begin with. The build up is weird and their past story is weirder honestly it feels like they don’t have chemistry
I don't either! There's no chemistry, no liking, no love, no nothing.
The fact that the author had to justify the seme's attraction by watching his brother kissing another guy is strange.
It makes me think the seme will have never thought about the idea of kissing the seme or doing anything if he hadn't seen his brother. All their relationship feels out of the blue.
Morinaga's way of thinking is not off. If you think about the character, he has been rejected by his family all the time, and he's asked to behave in certain ways, pushed to be who he isn't, and even asked to "get married already". Yes, the mom is trying to change, but she never asked; she's still imposing on him, and she didn't prepare him for anything. Morinaga has been doing things independently since he was a teenager. I'm pretty sure that things would have gone differently if the mom had taken HIS feelings into consideration, not imposing with an apology, like she has always done.
People tend to incline to the "character that's hurt", "the one that is sorry", "the one that lowers the head". But there wouldn't be a need for them to lower their heads and be sorry if they haven't done something bad. Actions have consequences and people need to be ready for them. The fact that Morinaga doesn't want her there is just a consequence of her actions; he wants to spend time with the person he loves and feels comfortable with, that's it.

That fucking teacher is a disgusting character, not even a comedy release.
It's a whole volume but it felt filled with nonsense....
Manga is going from 9 rating to 6 pretty fast.
I'm not liking it anymore :/
