In MC's case he's obviously never had any other relationships before since he's gay and WAS famous. He has social anxiety too, ofc he'd be scared of ppl judging him. He's just jealous lol and scared to be replaced cus he thinks so little of himself, even if yes ML constantly showers him with love and reassures him, it's his anxiety!
