When one of the characters had a secret crush on the other for YEARS and made a convoluted plan to get their crush. It can be well done, but a lot of the time it sounds manipulative. It's usually the big plot twist of the story and I'm already 4 of 6 chapters in, it's frustrating.   reply

When the person who is in love is WAAAAY too pushy. I mostly see comments saying these stories are cute and wholesome, or even healthy. First of all, not forcing have sex in the first chapter, or at all, is the BARE MINIMUM. Second, being pushy and not respecting a "no" is horrible too.
