okay i know i made a comment ab his character development but honestly if kim dan wants to forgive him for his past behaviours then let him be, it may be hard for all of us to let it slide but if kim dan forgives then we should all respect it. it js goes to show how your parents upbringing reflects the person who you are today. obv jaekyung experienced abuse at such a young age and it doesnt just heal in a few years, so it does affect how he handles situations AND relationships. but people can change and are allowed to, so ill say it again if kim dan wants to forgive him we should all respect it
Thing is unfortunately in these stories there is no "if" he chooses to. Dan WILL forgive him eventually. That's just how the plot will be. So from a distance this what it looks like the abused becomes an abuser and abuses others, and suddenly everyone forgives eachohters and its all good. They're not gonna show us the conflicts or doubt and anythihg, we'll I doubt THHIS manhwa will atleast
you have to remember these are fictional characters. they don't have agency. if mingwa writes dan forgiving jk (with little to no development) then we as the readers are well within our rights to say that it's bad writing. we don't respect a character's actions, we respect an author's ability to write.

my cup of teaa, i love a story thats realistic because there are people out there who goes through what su yeon goes through. sounds corny asl but this is exactly what love shld be about, wishing for your loved one’s happiness and them allowing you to grow and be the best version of yourself, need more masterpieces like this
honestly such a beautiful story, i always read cliche beginnings but this one had a different take and i really liked that. the way they expressed their emotions was chef kiss, i was definitely always at the edge of my seat
genuinely this story clearly shows how one acts based on their parents upbringing, i seriously think they need to get away from each other and get THERAPY.

i experienced every single emotion while reading this, from second hand embarrassment to being all giddy i love the progress of their relationship. the misunderstandings had me cackling and also frustrated but i enjoyed every part of it even if sometimes i had to pause because of the second hand embarrassment but it was so memorable and i really liked that, ill be back to binge read hehe
