I read this on another site (mymanagareading) and they had one extra panel of mc and ml having conversations w/ another character about how they work so well together it's seems like they could be really dating.
Ml instantly brushes it off and mc was like ╥﹏╥ ouch why did comment hurt so much
And I was like oh there's more chapters let's see how they're relationship develops. AND IT DOESN'T.

I've read things with dumb characters but not the mc and ml being this dumb. This isn't even a miscommunication issue they're just dumb.
Like hey mc you could just threaten him that you'll transfer or just find another job.
And ml trapped himself there if mc wasnt an idiot and did just transfer/quit. The ml would just have to sit there and wait for his dad to get him out.
