I've only read one story with this genre but I'm curious if anyone else wants to see more stories that is cakeverse

At first I thought it was just silly but thinking more about it i feel like it could have some interesting worldbuilding

Like mid read I started to wonder about laws they have or crimes that are commonly commited. And how often cannibalism occurs in this world and got so curious on how everything works or could work...

The story i read it was the flesh and body fluids that forks find tasty

And I'm just like what do you mean body fluids?.....does shit and piss taste good in this world???

This genre I believe was inspired by the omegaverse. So I also was trying to figure out in this world which one would be the alpha or omega. Which one would have an advantage and control like alphas do in omegaverses. I feel like both cake and fork are "vulnerable" to each other in some way.

But maybe their social norms are different and consuming someone spit is not seen as degrading?

What are the betas of their world like?

I have so many questions but so little answers?

Honestly Japan makes some crazy new tropes in general. The cake is the omega/uke in the sense that their lusted over and the fork is the alpha/seme that are driven crazy with lust. There’s many similar tropes that mangagkas have played with but it wasn’t Omegaverse that started it, it was actually incubus/succubus trope. It’s where there’s a desire driven purely by survival not by procreating.
There’s much more too:
- Esperverse, the first type, similar to guideverse but without proper guides, the espers simply used anyone to absorb mana via fluids or bodily contact. These were prevalent in many Seinen mangas and BL djs and is more popular in mangas.

- Guideverse, the official use of pairs, similar to Omegaverse, an esper required a physical bonding with a guide to replenish their energy and in some stories prevent the esper from turning into a monster themselves. These are more popular in Manhwas and Manhuas.

- Maidenverse or Saintverse, these types started Seinen fantasy with ecchi and involved a superhero whom is either a wizard, demon, or cursed and he required the mana from special maidens or saintess’ to replenish or power-up for battles.

- Incubus/Succubus, these aren’t special universes, but simply have a love demon which requires mana through intimate acts to stay alive.

This is mostly an exclusive BL trope that uses the theme of secondary gender roles called Submissive or Dominance and focuses on S&D, S&M and BDSM themes, where Dom’s use dog play style commands that hypnotise the receiving Sub partner.

Hello I can't remember the name of somewhat recently uploaded yaoi.

If im remember correctly, the mc came across the ml beating someone up and somehow got injured (by interfering or trying to break up the fight?)

Mc wakes up in a hospital and lies to the ml that he has amnesia to make ml think the mc won't report him.

I think the ml is also rich. Like ceo type rich and if he gets reported it could affect his reputation.

Anyway thats all I remember and I can't remember the name or saved it to my reading list.
