The conflict about Anri not wanting to be “just a wife” was hinted at from early on, so her desire to pursue higher education had some foundation. But since women couldn’t attend university, she ends up leaving Edwin, disguises herself as a man, and goes to study.
The issue is that Anri never communicates with Edwin—despite the fact that he probably would’ve supported her and even worked to reform the laws to give women access to education. As a duchess, she had real power to start social change, but instead, she selfishly chooses to leave everything behind and turns to Erze, the villainess, for help.
It sends the message that a woman can't pursue personal growth and have a partner at the same time.
That said, some manhwa fans still hope for a better outcome. The artist has already made several changes in the adaptation, so there's a chance the ending might be reworked—similar to what happened with Not Your Typical Reincarnation Story.
As for me... I’m not sure if I should keep my hopes up that the artist will truly fix the ending—but who knows, anything’s possible. I haven’t read the manhwa since the wedding chapter due to work, but from what I’ve seen, the changes so far seem to be improving the flow of the story. So there you have it. It’s up to you whether you choose to keep the faith… or let it go now before it disappoints you.

I also read this spoiler on novelupdates but I really like it so far huhu so I'm staying and hopes that they change that bit and make them reconcile or maybe write to do while anri is in the academy and I also hope that the prince survives and he gets to live a happy life with eunice

so basically, saint nayla (1st life) → yoon dohee (2nd life) → deborah
deborah currently doesn't have divine powers bcs she sealed them when she was the goddess saint nayla (i forgot why and how she sealed it). later in the story, pilaf will kidnap her and lock her inside an artifact, which will unseal her divine powers and thus unlock her 1st life memories.
after that she will use the formula she improved to cast divine magic since she doesn't have any mana.
divine powers is healing powers
divine magic = offensive magic
