I was at my first ever gymnastics competition when I was 7-8ish. This was a county-wide competition, so it was super busy. We were all waiting for the results at the end of the day, and the first result they call out is: 'in first place, [me]!'
I was ecstatic- I collected my flower from the judges, did my little pose to the audience, and hopped up......
