i’m looking for a fantasy manga/manhwa with a female protagonist who isn’t super pale, but tan or brown, also preferably with black/brown hair.

i’m looking for manga (can be manhwa or manhua but manga is preferred) that have a romance between a girl who is headstrong, passionate, has important relationships outside her love interest x a boy who is not pushy, controlling, possessive, or obsessive?

also pls no isekai (regular fantasy is OK), smutfests (suggestive or sex scene every once in a while is OK), or significant age gaps (5 yrs or more)

bonus points if:

-girl first falls in love with boy, boy is initially nonchalant towards her > girl eventually mellows out and is casual in her crush towards him/maybe starts to fall out of love with him, meanwhile the boy falls embarrassingly head over heels in love with her very suddenly

-girl is like haruhi from ohshc (calm, rational, can stand up for herself, kind)

-they are adults (college aged or older)

-plot is not just abt their romance

-fantasy or has some fantastical elements (+bonus points if girl is a magic user or weapon user) (again, pls no isekais unless you truly highly recommend one!)

i’m looking for isekai recs that has a strong focus on the relationship between the transmigrated mc (can be girl or boy but i prefer girl) and heroine (must be a girl, no yaoi pls). the relationship can have a romantic/implied romantic nature, but a friendship, sibling relationship, rivalry, mentor/mentee, etc. is ok w me, just as long as they are close (either in love or hate). their relationship does not have to be the MAIN focus of the work, but must be important.

things that would b nice but not required:
-relationship between mc and heroine is yuri and/or besties, sisters, teacher/student
-setting is fantasy or has some magical elements
-heroine comes off as sweet and naive but has a hidden dark side
-mc comes off as cold and uncaring but is secretly considerate
-heroine becomes obsessed w mc or vice versa
-genderbender, specifically m to f. i’m aware that this can be a difficult element to find combined w all of my other preferences, so that’s why i’m putting it at the bottom of the list.

now here r some things that i do not want to see:
-transmigrated male mc gets a harem of women that includes heroine. conversely, transmigrated female mc discovers that heroine is secretly a shallow bitch and steals her harem of love interests
-transmigrated mc and/or heroine is a child (ages 13 and below) for a majority of the story
-mc or heroine is a vampire or werewolf

none of those are strictly off the table. if you strongly strongly recommend any work that has any of the things i said i don’t want to see, feel free to recommend it to me anyways ^^

Anybody know why there's a huge spike in villainess reincarnation manga/manhua/manhwa lately? As in- normal girl wakes up as the villainess in a fantasy world of an otome game or something and realizes she's fated to be killed by one of the love interests in the end? I've seen some variations of how the protagonist goes about her journey, but they basically all have that same premise. Or actually sometimes, the protagonist wakes up as a baby of an evil noble or something lol.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE this kind of story but it feels VERY common lately. I don't know (￣∇￣")

Could be the typical superheroes or maybe just people who like justice. Just read Koi Wa Kamen No Uchigawa Ni and I'm super in love! ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄

There's two things I adore about Harada: their artstyle and their penchant for messed up stories. Firstly, their artstyle is so pretty and really different from other mangakas in a good way. And secondly, their messed up plots... Oh, their messed up plots... This has been said before, but I just like how well-thought out they are, and how pretty complicated the characters usually are. They always get me thinking afterward. Anyways, sorry for gushing about them, but does anyone know anybody similar to Harada, in terms of artstyle or plots?

Or at least, your worst memory you're comfortable with sharing?

I absolutely LOVE mangas/manhwas with an ugly uke and want to read more like Never Understand (⌒▽⌒). I've already read Aitsu no Daihonmei btw.
