"Glares" as they function in subverse don't exist in real life bdsm, so there's no reason "subspace" in subverse should mirror subspace in real life.

I do get what you're saying and i don't even truly disagree tbh, i think its more so my personal preference on how i would like to see things like subspace/drop or brats/brat taming etc be represented even through a fantastical lense; i do like other subverse stories even though they're obviously not meant to be accurate representations of bdsm. The author of course can do whatever they want and I don't have to read this but yeah.
