I get it, blondie was abandoned and got hurt so now he wants his revenge, but by that logic why not go after his actual blood relatives that didn’t want to help him. The FL’s mom and that guys dad were only together for 2 years yet he expected them to just take him in??? Nah get revenge on your own blood that knew you from birth yet didn’t try to help out. And yes obviously what the FL did is messed up but she barely knew this kid and they were already poor. I’m sorry but if my dad was only dating someone for 2 years I would not expect that family to take care of me.
As for the FL she never cheated on her husband, yes she should’ve told him that her ex was the director, but she never did anything with him. So I don’t get why people are hating on her so much. You can’t always choose who you work with if you want to climb the social ladder. But at least she never put herself in a position of cheating. And yes she sucks because she put her work over her family but isn’t that what most men do in this era anyways? Men work long hours and women end up being housewife’s and that’s just expected as the norm but god forbid it’s the other way around.
Now for the ML I think he makes me the most mad. I don’t think he ever truly loved his wife. He just saw an opportunity to be with someone “out of his league” and took it regardless of how he actually felt about her. And then he CHOSE to be a stay at home dad but then harbored extreme resentment towards his wife for it. He’s got hella communication issues and an inferiority complex as he’s stated multiple times. So honestly he needs to grow up and stop purposely hurting his wife just to make himself feel better about the choices he chose himself.
Overall everyone is just dumb and selfish especially the brother and ML. So I hope the daughter doesn’t get hurt by their selfishness.
