this story ended at S1 for me too
i can tolerate art style changes if they are improvement or at least are true to the characters but this is a total downgrade and no amount of flowers or special effects they add in can make it better.
the characters in the story are even described as cute and beautiful (the omega) and handsome (the alpha) after the downgrade all i think of is
"this is handsome to you???? he is cute??? in what universe even-"
i read it as backshot 3 times in confusion until i realised it's actually backside

also i just know that Ritsuka would bite/suck/ leave hickies on mafuyu's adam's apple since he had to point out how prominent it was
im back for more my fourth round of rereading again ehhehehhhehegeh I LOVE THIS MANNHWA SOO MUCH
he is soo funny, he saw that everything was surprising normal in that gallery place so he acted clueless, let owen lower his guard a bit and immediately sprinted towards the door like "ik your freaky ass won't keep things normal" and ofc he had to have a whole room filled with recordings of them doing it
so yeah i read the story over and over again trying to understand why people are saying mafuyu doesn't move on from yuki and that uenoyama is living in yuki's shadow and that its mafuyu's fault about what happened to yuki
but that's not even it like in the story (unless you brush off this stuff ofc) you see that Ue helps Mafuyu heal from his trauma and grief.
mafuyu also moved on from yuki, there is a difference between not moving on and moving on and from what i saw mafuyu wouldn't have confessed to Ue if he hadn't really liked him also if he hadn't move on he would've always tried to look for yuki in Ue but he didn't instead Ue was the one that reminded him of his moments with yuki (i would say in a way that is also a trauma response from mafuyu as he is trying to understand what went wrong and doesn't want it to happen to his and ue's relationship).
Not only that in the story Mafuyu did heal, move on and is in love with Ue its just that the story has soo little focus on them that we don't see it fully (also yeah ngl as i read it and noticed how Mafuyu has moved on its just the author being hung up on Yuki, not mafuyu)
also for some people that said its mafuyu's fault about what happened to yuki, no its not, yuki was already thinking about it even before mafuyu said it out of anger (like i get it mafuyu felt that yuki was neglecting him and choosing music over him and not even inviting him to at least see them doing music, at least make him feel included) but as i said yuki was already think about it so when mafuyu actually said it that was probably the last thread and he actually did it cus no one would just do it without already thinking about it for a long time.
so yeh its just the author not moving on from Yuki.
