All this stuff G.O is doing, getting a bit too close, the looks, the hand kiss thing was on purpose. He is definetly aware mc is stalking him and is probably goading him on and encouraging him to trap and manipulate mc. I also believe he is Malik, the donator, which is why G.O is also obsessed with mc. The author gave the mc a birthmark on his hand, so his hand is recognizable in the streams, then at the convention when G.O (Malik) kissed it he definetly would have noticed leading to all this. The cover of this manhwa adds to this theory too.

The only thing throwing me off is G.O calling him a little rat in the prologue.

Now this is a theory I am not 100% sure about but if true, that would be crazy. Do you guys remember that one historical manhwa where the woman (pink hair I think?) raises this guy to be a total dog (balck hair?)(Possibly through drugs or a spell not sure?) then abandons him and he gets super upset. Then he becomes emperor and finds her again at some ball, forces her into the palace and acts like a complete lunatic, confining her, super possessive but he also hates her, and I remember a scene where she is playing with a kid (making a sandcastle?) and he finds her and gets super mad. I think she reincarnated as a villainess who imprisoned the ML and when she realised who she was she tried to somehow fix him then run so he wouldn't kill her but it backfired cus her plan was shit
