I haven’t read the most recent update but I just came here to share my shock; I didn’t know this wasn’t completed yet! To me I finished reading this about three years ago (or around the time when we couldn’t comment for about a year). So imagine my surprise when I saw ts in the recently updated list.
I can’t express how deeply I hate this new trend of putting up ‘placeholder chapters’. I literally was just thinking at chapter 26 ‘it’s a good thing there’s another chapter because I wouldn’t be able to handle this cliffhanger’ for there to be a BLOODY PLACEHOLDER CHAPTER RIGHT AFTER IT. It’s like it’s designed to solely piss me off because I can’t understand the logic behind it???

Every time I read really good shit with an amazing art style the first fucking thought in my mind is: I’d binge this if it were a kdrama/ this should be a FUCKING KDRAMA
Jerry’s being a cunt. I can’t remember if he has a valid reason for behaving like that either. Why’d he snapping and yelling? Also a lot of people keep saying that his son is actually his boyfriend and that definitely isn’t right; if anything he’s lying about the kid being his, but they aren’t dating.

Left and came back. This, I Love Yoo and that other thing have been going on so bloody long. I started reading this when I was fifteen. I’m 24 with a newborn now. wtf.

also that random stranger at the end is totally my type. Is he someone sort of spirit of a dead king or something?
I’m at chapter 80 and I did read this long ago and got to a point where he met some old man in the woods and leveled up—blah blah blah—but I just wanted to be certain. It’s clear it isn’t a harem but is there a love interest? Or women that like him and are archetypes or cliches? I don’t count Wol-ha/wah? Cause it doesn’t seem like she actually likes him but are there any later on?
So he kills the vet’s family yet allows those young, currently unskilled children live there just fine? I get why he’d kill the wife—what use is an accountant in a world without a functioning economy?—but why the vet’s kids? Was it because they were teens? He always was confusing to me and I’m waiting for the plot to make some sense but he seems sort of contradictory. 1) there are young children in the camp. 2) you intend for them to learn hence scouting the teacher. 3)yet you kill teens?
Shiba died so sadly and I was hoping the MC died with him together but that didn’t happen.
First off, based on the schedule they’ll probably update twice a month/ fortnightly. Secondly, if anyone has recommendations for me to read while waiting, please don’t hesitate to share it (I’m desperate ╥﹏╥)
Now, onto my theories:
1) Miss Rosette dies and she dies pretty soon, hopefully in some macabre way. Maybe she sees her son and/or husband or someone similar from behind and it turns out to be him/them zombified or she’s accosted in her desperation to get to him/them and is bitten in the process. I assume she croaks quick cause unlike some other main characters on the cover (including a really sexy looking clown (≧∀≦) and some guy with a weird mullet) she wasn’t there. She’s canon fodder.
2) ain’t a theory just an observation: no matter how much I want Jerry and the MC to at least become aware of each other in a certain context, based on the creator’s previous work, it ain’t gonna happen guys. Not to mention it’s not even tagged that way; there will be no coupling of the daddies.
3)That pop star chick is gonna try to make a move on Reggie or something else, either way she has her eyes on him and it’s disgusting IMO. There are multiple panels of her taking notice of him or whatever and based on what we’ve seen of her character (definitely meretricious) she isn’t taking notice for altruistic reasons. Jerry is gonna beat her ass (or so I pray).
4) His wife is still alive and pregnant. That’s more than obvious I think but he’s not aware of it so when they do eventually cross paths, it’s gonna be cray cray! I wonder what excuse she’ll use to justify herself or whether she’ll try to convince their daughter to come with her.
Okay so yeah, I did assume some days ago that the kid was dead and that Guwon would bash the kid’s—now Maggot—head in but it turns out that he simply bashed the kid’s dad’s head in instead! Semantics ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I watched it on YT back when they’d post anime’s in little four minute clips, the videos sequestered in one quarter of the screen. I was invested and thought it was the peak of animation. It’s a lucky thing my next anime after I watched all the episodes available for it happened to be Ouran Highschool Host Club. I summarily proven wrong about my ignorant assumptions and forgot all about it only to see it here on this site over ten years later. All I remember—because I will not be subjecting myself to this a second time by reading it—is that I was rooting for the boy that was her actual age. His name was Zero I think and he and the main character had more of a rapport than she did with the man that could’ve easily been her father.
I was in my first form of secondary school and the books in the library in the fiction section were meager. I found this and other installments of the series hidden away beneath a bookshelf. I’d sit on the floor in the back of the library to read it and then squeeze it back underneath there. The library didn’t have any other parts of the series or it was incomplete and back then social media wasn’t as big as it was now (I sound ancient but I’m in my early-twenties and in 2014 it wasn’t so easy to just go look up stuff) so I couldn’t find out more about it. I had a dream about this series some nights ago and couldn’t remember the name only to see it on the recently updated list today. I feel pretty happy and nostalgic and it helps that almost everyone else in the comments has the same/ a similar experience with it as I did.
They don’t make comics like this anymore (god I sound old but it’s true!)
Loved his reactions, I’d rate it a ten out of ten—now onto creepier things; who else believes that that dad killed his son or his son is dead because the illness finally snatched him and that there’s a maggot in that house?
