also so nice reading a BL couple that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy without a lot of the BL toxic tropes

season 1 broke me. i'm not sure i'm emotionally stable enough to go on with this one....
like yeah what Aeroc did was despicable but what Kloff did was on a whole other level...
Also note that Aeroc paid the price for his naivety. He never planned to have Kloff's husband raped nor killed. The heathens did so without his orders and he found out after. Not saying that he's not to blame OBVIOUSLY he is to blame for it. However, Kloff became no better than the monsters that offed his husband. What he did to someone who repented and was already punished enough was beyond demented, especially since after some point he did it solely because he couldn't admit he was attracted to the person that, even unintentionally, caused the death of his husband.. Hence why the other seasons are about Aeroc's deserved happiness and Kloff's punishment. I love how this story touches the complexity and absurdity of human nature. Can't really blame other readers for not wanting to continue nor for saying that Kloff doesn't deserve forgiveness unlike Aeroc.

everything from characters to plotlines just felt natural when reading and love how much the relationship between them is a total green flag. really refreshing to read a non toxic mlm i need more like this and i know ill read this one again and again cause they're just so adorable together <3
What a mess of a read.
Main character wise you got a complete a-hole from start to finish that consistently acts the way the other characters act but hates on them for it. Second character is gets growth but my god made me so angry cause of how toxic he is while turning it into a blaming it on his trauma situation. Third character - bunny boiler - nuff said.
Too many plot points without any depth it felt like most chapters were messy shallow interactions instead of an actual plot point
Just got to season 2 and loving this one sooooo much this couple are the best
