honestly if you just speed read it for entertainment it's ok, some aspects of the story are interesting

but the plot is mid, the story progression is awkward, the MC is pretty shallow (chara wise) and isn't really compelling even as a protag anti-hero, there's no character development (which, given it's only 46 ch in I'll give them some leniency), but chara development aside, i don't even understand a lot of the characters motivations.. a lot of their actions are just confusing??? maybe they'll be revealed later but i don't really have the desire to wait to find out
tldr, ok brainless read, would rec to let it marinate and binge when complete
now i gotta wait for updates
LOVE that MC is not turning into the typical, gain OP skills and become an asshole "I work alone/I can't trust other ppl" type MC. I know a lot of that is probably just based on how his skills work and how they force him to work with his civilians and vassals, but you can tell he def retains a lot of his own humanity and empathy <3 he obviously cares about his people and yeah he's working to become even more powerful and save his family, but he's not doing it in a selfish way or forsaking the people who have given him trust and loyalty
