I always thought Haesoo would end up with Taku mainly bc of the author's previous work "fools". Fools was about moving on from a toxic relationship, understanding that even if you love someone it doesn't mean they are good for you. It was about finding new love and trying not to make the same past mistakes. The couple learnt to communicate and to trust each other. And i know love or hate is a lot more fucked up but i have a hard time imagining the author making the choice to go against the main message of their previous work. But who know haha
