Maybe I'm sensitive. I keep on seeing people on Tik tok. On here hating on Yw. And I can't help but feel like crying? Actually, I am crying. He has been through so much as well. Seeing him speaking out about what he wants for the very first time to his closeted lover who has been somewhat an abusive partner to him. Never giving a label to what their relationship is. Seeing so many people truly believing that he doesn't deserve anyone and that he is the only problem. Making it seem he is intentionally trying to get with both TJ and Jo. He finally speak out once and he is being called selfish. TJ has selfishly hurt Ian. He ruined Ian career. He broke Ian leg. He put Ian in prison. He put him in debt and made him sell drugs... People are only sympathizing with the two tops for some reason especially TJ. I see people invalidating Ian trauma and the thing he went through with TJ. Belittle and degrade him to a slut because he sleep around but in the same breath they are fine with TJ sleeping with other women. They feel pity and angry for the top only like why is that? Ian deserve to be love as well. It's so upsetting seeing him go through so much as well but receive so much hate with people spinning the narrative to make the two top ( well more like TJ) as the victim. I can see why people love Jo and feel angry for him not just because of his looks only but I just can't understand the people who truly believe that TJ deserve better (he deserves to be happy but saying he deserves better in regard to Ian is not it.)because I can't see any other reason besides the fact you like the way he look and you think he is this dude who is willing to give up everything for Ian but in reality Ian given up more for TJ has ever did for Ian. Seeing Yw believing that he isn't worthy of any love or being able to love normally and people just gloss over how he feels. Would it help if a top were to show these feeling? Mainly on tik tok. Most content creator too...they just thirst over TJ....and they always has something to say about Ian but never TJ tho. That's their husband lol.

Yes and I can't help but think that it also reflect how many women have internalized misogyny. Not just with the wetsand community but in so many other community. There always people sympathizing with the top despite what the top made the bottom go through. I also notice that alot of people love bottom that seem like they are top. I went into this story with no bias towards either TJ or Jo and came to sympathize a lot with Ian’s character and experiences, which… this story is supposed to be about HIM in the first place, but I wont go into that again I don’t think some readers understand that TJ isn’t being put in a bad light now, he HAS been a POS throughout the series but I digress. We’re going through a media literacy epidemic and people love dumbing down shit in order to see it fits their narrative

I think you probably just dislike anything non-consensual, which is completely normal. I wouldn’t call it “shocking,” more like that stomach drop feeling that gets mistaken for shock. Honestly, it feels obvious that non-con would show up in this story.After all, we’re only in chapter 20, and there hasn’t been any real emotional connection between them beyond sexual attraction. If it didn’t happen, it would feel out of character for Enzo, given how he’s been written so far. I’m not saying I support rape, but based on the flashbacks and his actions in the earlier chapters, it was clear from the moment he pinned Uno down that he would force himself on him. Even if the author decided to make Uno and Enzo bicker until Uno “gave in,” it still wouldn’t feel like genuine consent but more like Uno accepting it because he had no other choice, which is still uncomfortable. But it was 20 chapters of a work in progress. 20 chapters of uno trying to win Enzo over...and Enzo only just became a little interested in Uno. Their relationship and emotional bond is still a work in progress. Yes be disappointed but you cannot tell me that you didn't see it coming.
Ditto, I'm not a fan of the sa and r*p* tropes, and I love Uno to the moon and back (more than Enzo, and since Red Candy he has always been my fav) but I did expect things to take this turn and to get ugly, I stayed tuned because the story has so much more to offer, and I appreciate the depth and complexity it brings alongside the interesting dynamics and relationship between the 2 characters !
