He does have to pay for his own actions, but that doesn't mean people shouldn't acknowledge what he went through
You can do both at the same time : wants him to get his punishment AND the reparations for his own trauma
Without everything, he probably could have been a good person
Once again, predator gets it all, letting the survivors with the weight of their actions
