Mr Lim having to be cold because, to him, it’s the only way to convey maturity in the situation, OHHHHH LORRDDDD. Genuinely what a messy circumstance, it also doesn’t help that theirs a clear age hierarchy in their society (in all societies really) and it’s been made very apparent to Mr Lim that their relationship looks predatory to the outside observer (when his sister told him about that celebrity dating a younger girl), genuinely every single person in his life (and in Yeorum’s life that Mr Lim met, his aunt) has expressed a view on how older people and younger people should nor be mingling, there’s was no way he was going to remain still and comfortable.
