I’m so tired of going on yearner threads only to see every other answer be some guy. Don’t get me wrong, I love Hua Cheng and Naruto. Absolute kings of yearning. But please, can we get a woman for once? I’m begging.

Give me women who are pathetic in love. Girls who yearn. Who are desperate for their girls or their guys. I want true lover girls, across any genre. GL, straight, side characters in BL, action, you name it.

Just… no annoying caricatures of damsels in distress. I’m talking about women who feel things. Who love too much. Who ache. Who pine.

From manga, manhwa, manhua, dramas, movies, whatever you’ve got. I need them.

Gonna get my learning done here since I’m so unemployed and incredibly bored (JK. I just tripped in front of my mom while doing laundry today, and she went on a whole lecture about it, 50 tangents later, she concluded that I have no useful knowledge in life because I’m that clumsy. So, fellow gooners and goonerettes, bestow your wisdom upon me).

Things have felt so wholesome here lately, it seems like the perfect time for a little feel-good thread.

There’s this one user who gushes about their favorites in the most adorable way, it always makes me want to check out whatever they’re talking about. I even find myself peeking at their profile now and then for fresh reads because their taste is great.

So how about you? Is there someone whose posts you never skip or just interest you?

Ya’ll, please recommend some slice-of-life manga/manhwa/manhua (anything works). I’d love ones where the main cast is mostly just GUYS, with low-stakes plots, little to no angst, and minimal to no romance. (It’s fine if a female character pops in now and then, but hopefully not too often).

Life’s been rough lately, and with men out here wrecking both my country and my peace of mind, I just wanna escape into the utopia of these stories for a while.
