Okay, lovely people. I took a break from this at chapter 110 because frankly I was exhausted with the pacing. I can't believe it went to chapter 160. I honestly don't think I feel like returning to it, but am curious as to how it ended up. Would anyone be willing to give me an overall round up of what happened? If so, TIA *hugs*
Yea around ch 110 the pacing slows to a crawl LOL I love this story and even I had a difficult time around there (￣∇￣")
Ok so here's some pointers about what happens after that so read only if you're ok with spoilers! I'd really recommend continuing on your own bc after the slow chapters it gets super sweet but if you must, here's roughly what happens
- Not without difficulty, but they do resolve the problem of Baekha feeling restless after the dreams end, he finally looks at the man in front of him and, after a heartfelt confession fueled by liquid courage (alcohol lol), they have a proper first night together,
- We get some chapters that establish just how much mr Nam lusts for Baekha and it's not that Baekha is unenthusiastic but he definitely has a hard time keeping up LOL the stamina difference is too much (≧∀≦)
- Big reveal: They realize they met once before those gods interferred, which strengthens the relationship even more. I don't wanna say much more abt this, it's such a pivotal moment for them ╥﹏╥
- Baekha's cousin, which we've briefly seen before, comes visit him and opposes the relationship. Homophobia arc yay(?)
- So obviously he never had a chance to separate them lol and things develop such that he leaves the country wishing them happiness and with mr Nam not hating him as much lol (bc right before he leaves he reveals a crucial bit of info that makes mr Nam reconsider his opinion)
- The subject of making a movie about the novel gets brought up once more BY BAEKHA NO LESS he's so cute and in love (≧∀≦) also the context in which this is brought up is very funny imo so I won't spoil it LOL the scene is funny and sexy and loving and skfjskfjskgdhs
- The movie gets premiered, cue the promise of eternal love, the rings yes yes why are my eyes blurry ╥﹏╥
- We get a glimpse of their next reincarnation
Holy shit I had so much fun writing this LOL sorry it ended up being long I tend to get carried away when talking about the manhwa I love ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄ btw there's also the epilogue!! Very cute, seeing the Baekha of the epilogue.... he really has come so far compared to how he was when they started their relationship hehe~~ ok now I'm really done sorry hope you end up reading it and enjoy it!!! It would could go either way. By outing himself or including his bf, they might get canceled on shows or sponsors and eventually commits breach of contract (depends on what it entails) that they have to pay tons for breaching the contract which might exceed their savings. If only that wasn't the case, I was thinking they could freely just out themselves, cancel their contract and go somewhere they are not known or some unknown/small theater just start their life anew.. but alas, reality isn't that easy.
I was already thinking of this possibility as soon as the blackmail thing was introduced long ago, but since the story is so realistic that the possibility of outing themselves could go either way (depending on author's story direction), they could get canceled or fans be happy for them (if fans or audience overall got positive feedback, the sponsors won't cancel, etc. But if they got canceled to the point they eventually commits breach of contract, they have to pay huge amount or have to follow unreasonable orders from above).. If somehow it will be chaotic after the juicy topic, they could either lay low (order from the management) but won't still won't let them go or use them elsewhere (I don't want to imagine the more darker side of the showbiz).
If breach of contract wasn't an issue, they could just leave the company, go incognito after outing themselves and hide on provinces they are not well known or as I have said above, work on small/unknown theater (if they still want to pursue acting) or change career entirely. They're still young and able to work, unless there are paparazzi or avid fans tailing them everywhere and disturb their new life even after quitting showbiz.. (There's no peace in their life if that happens).
This side story is just now ending, huh. I had absolutely no interest AT ALL reading a "love" story for the boss. F*ck him. I see I made a wise decision in skipping that bull foolery.
