i used to believe that earth is just in a jar and the stars are just holes to keep us breathing. Like for example: if you trap a mouse in a jar with no holes on it, it dies. so.. then.. i believed that we are just an small animal living in a jar. and real people/aliens kept us alive by poking holes on the jar by making it stars :O!
