Same, kinda unexpected
I’m looking for this one manga I read ages ago, it could have been 5 years, it could have been 9 years. There was this one scene in the manga that has never left my brain since I saw it. These two childhood friends had just begun dating, it was Christmas day and we decided to go on a date. The seme had waited an hour outside of the Uke’s church, because he was excited to go on their date. When they saw each other they spoke only a few lines, words that have been engraved into my very soul...
As they left to go somewhere warm the Seme asks “We should go inside the church, since it’s close and warm” and the Uke, without looking back, response “No let’s go somewhere else… The church doesn’t recognize homosexuality”.
As a queer person those words made me break out sobbing, in the middle of the night. Growing up in Catholicism I was taught the very same thing and hearing those words echoed by another queer person really hit home for me. Please I need to find this manga . I need to be able to re-read those words countless times until a little no longer hurts. I look forward to hearing from you.
What is Althea’s gender? I thought they were female but now I’m just confused. I need some clarification.
I thought they were but I mean they aren't human so I don't think it matters to the story
