He’s an asshole but he’s the grandson of the previous head of the mage tower.
His grudge is probably more with Luke than aerinda. Luke got the mages tower (probably because he halfway mastered time magic twice) when doucheface was meant to get it by right of bloodline.
He has tried to obliterate aerinda twice before because she was not originally from this world but also probably because it would hurt Luke.
I think he wants an in for him to get promoted to head of the mage tower. If he can obliterate an entity not of this world and send it back from whence it came, he can claim his powers are stronger than Luke’s or he can say that he’s the reason why the world is set right after Luke sent it off course by saving Aerinda in her previous lives.
That last part is speculation but he’s definitely the type to do that. Like I said, he’s an asshole.

I was never able to read this manwha because of all the rape. I just got sad reading this. I know it has a sweet couple but all the violence and sexual assault was so prominent that i couldn't exactly enjoy the story.

Like, from what I've skimmed and lightly read so far, the brothers (are they twins or something?) are very involved with Jooha's suffering (i skimmed over chapters 61+, where one of the brothers kidnap him and SA and gangrape him) but Dooshik is doing the same things to the other brother that they were doing to Jooha. On one hand, I understand that it's revenge, but Jooha knows first hand what a horrible experience that is so its TOTALLY UNDERSTANDABLE WHY HE'D BE SO HORRIFIED WITH DOOSHIK'D ACTIONS.
Even if it was revenge, it's like proving that Dooshik is just the same as all those other men who raped Jooha... I believe in revenge, revenge killing makes sense, but revenge rape....... I don't know, sexual violence has always seemed the most unforgivable crime for me. I understand Dooshik did it out of love but...
Anyways, im just gonna skim read this, i just wanna know the story but i have to confess that this story just makes me sick... This is just me though, not shaming anyone reading this.

Dooshik is crazy and he knows that damn well too. But I'd say not as evil as to inflict pain upon someone for profit or just for the fun of it. That's why even though i felt bad, i also kind of understood where dooshik was coming from. When those scenes came up, the only thing in my mind was. Oh in this moment even for a split second, did daekwang think to himself that this was what jooha had to go through because of them. And when daehwi had to witness the horrors unfolding before him, did he think to himself that this was what dooshik had to witness because of them. The consequences that they brought upon themselves, the cost of playing with fire.
I fuck with morally ambiguous or immoral FLs Im tired of the goody two shoes FL. I fw this shit, its exciting, and unpredictable. You guys gotta admit that most historical romance manwhas are becoming too repetitive, too tropey, so stuff like this that makes us doubt and get angry at the main characters are more exciting for me. If we can fuck with characters like the ones from Jinx, Painter of the Night etc who are also toxic, but men, why can't we enjoy media with toxic women?
I am highly entertained with this manwha and can't wait to see what happens next

Like i thought this was just smutty nonsense with not even a half baked plot, but if you ignore the crack induced dialogue, the olot is plotting, there's fucking lore. I feel like a lost some brain cells and regained them back all at the same time like who cooked up this fucking manwha, I'm so invested
This would be so popular if it weren't for the out of pocket lines, and the over all weird ass vibes the author gives to this whole thing. Like the characters and the world is interesting, but the comedic elements are distracting, and you have to look further to really appreciate it. This ain't for everybody. This is some complex shit, a balance between crack, drugs, scifi, actually interesting characters and story, hidden under a veil of dumbassery. What a fucking gem

From what i remember they really don’t deserve it. This story was dark from the start and the mc has a dark mentality and this is his revenge for what the girl did to her child. It’s messed up ik
But that’s the point ig. The mc is a villain VILLAIN and the author doesn’t sugarcoat
I read the novel and all i can say is: they didn´t really deserve it but that´s what happened.
If the manga goes the same way the novel goes without changing the plot you will see that he didn´t really care about being evil, he only cares about his daughter and vengeance (after some time Jorga will enter this list). The thing is, he wanted to save his daughter from being killed and to get revenge on the people that put her in that position, later he falls in love with Jorga (the circus arc he is already betting his fate in Jorga´s decision.
The girls were just part of his revenge, the same way they drove Marie (Nasha´s sister, the girl who was in love with Sigurd) into madness and made her ``pay for her crime´´, Andrim put Nasha´s family into this position for revenge, to see her suffer.
