Wait!! Im confused!! Can someone explain to me who that dude was, what was his grudge and what has he done??
He’s an asshole but he’s the grandson of the previous head of the mage tower.
His grudge is probably more with Luke than aerinda. Luke got the mages tower (probably because he halfway mastered time magic twice) when doucheface was meant to get it by right of bloodline.
He has tried to obliterate aerinda twice before because she was not originally from this world but also probably because it would hurt Luke.
I think he wants an in for him to get promoted to head of the mage tower. If he can obliterate an entity not of this world and send it back from whence it came, he can claim his powers are stronger than Luke’s or he can say that he’s the reason why the world is set right after Luke sent it off course by saving Aerinda in her previous lives.
That last part is speculation but he’s definitely the type to do that. Like I said, he’s an asshole.
Can someone explain to me the new chapter at the circus? I dont understand why those girls deserved that fate, its been a while since ive read this so idk if im missing context
From what i remember they really don’t deserve it. This story was dark from the start and the mc has a dark mentality and this is his revenge for what the girl did to her child. It’s messed up ik
But that’s the point ig. The mc is a villain VILLAIN and the author doesn’t sugarcoat
I read the novel and all i can say is: they didn´t really deserve it but that´s what happened.
If the manga goes the same way the novel goes without changing the plot you will see that he didn´t really care about being evil, he only cares about his daughter and vengeance (after some time Jorga will enter this list). The thing is, he wanted to save his daughter from being killed and to get revenge on the people that put her in that position, later he falls in love with Jorga (the circus arc he is already betting his fate in Jorga´s decision.
The girls were just part of his revenge, the same way they drove Marie (Nasha´s sister, the girl who was in love with Sigurd) into madness and made her ``pay for her crime´´, Andrim put Nasha´s family into this position for revenge, to see her suffer.
