Why are we still in the era where the only purpose of the 2nd ML is to suffer?

I think a lot of people suffered from 2nd lead syndrome, why aren't there more stories where they finally leave their red flags and realize their worth? Give me some of your favourite 2nd leads, i want to be heartbroken
