Oh god don't get me started with Love or Hate Ik my pick/those types of stories are really lukewarm compared to the other "bad" media but I think that slow dread/realization that the the first love interest (cause ofc that's end game with these things) isn't gonna get redeemed/fix their shit at the end as the other choice just has to deal with all that bs brews a type of hatred and spite like no other lmaoo
