Am I the only one who actually loved this whole misunderstanding and breakup plotline?? I was actually getting bored of their lovey dovey scenes being shown all the time but seeing this angsty arc AND ALSO IT BEING WRITTEN SO WELL I loved it honestly

Joo Mi-rye is my favourite character in this manhwa and my favourite weirdo. I think both Ian and him don't have siblings so he has some sort of brother complex.

It's not about legality, but possible abuse of power. A 30 year old adult can make a 21 year old financially dependable and they CAN abuse someone younger and less mature than them, who now can't escape because of monetary needs.

It's been mentioned that Yuri's family is wealthy and he got a part time job just to get familiar with a working environment, not because he needed the money. If we talk solely about money, Yuri could even be at an advantage.
And regarding their mental state, they're both in the fucking gutter and need therapy. Yuri is at "an advantage" if you don't look close enough, but Seonwoo could just run away if he gets tired enough, so they're equals.

All in all, their age gap doesn't matter. They re-met as adults, never had anything remotely close to a romantic relationship when they were teacher and student. It doesn't matter, the drawing was just made to make people see them in their past, which looks cute tbh. Stop bitching around.
