this is a pretty old one i think, the mc is female and can read minds, and she encounters many people with her abilities and has to stop them. theres a scene when she’s ln the train and she knows a disaster is coming, she sees a boy that also has powers, and she reads his mind and finds out he can see the future. she ends up adopting him im pretty sure, or something of the sort

okay it was pretty obvious that yoshiki felt something for the former hikaru, and i always thought thats why he accepted the fake one or tried to because it was like a remnant of his old love, but that description of having someone to confide in that doesnt care (or even understand) how human values (aka homophobia in this instance) works, actually opened my eyes to their dynamic a lot more. i really liked that a lot

my personal opinion on the matter is that i think the ml shouldve just murdered the mc atp, like i genuinely would prefer that over any of this, and especially with how far the novel goes with this. clearly its not just revenge, the ml feels something for the mc that i cant explain as anything else other than a twisted romantic sense, or ownership. he wants the mc to stay with him WILLINGLY, not just forcing it, which is the exact opposite of if he were just doing it for revenge, is it not? because wouldnt you rather them suffering every moment of it, rather than enjoying being by your side ?
anyways, i get that this is someones thing, and its psychological, but i dont know. the whole thing with the dog and the pads and stuff really grossed me out

i wouldve preferred this story without romance but i really expected the magician to be the male lead i dont know why. also, im pretty sure mio has feelings for her based off of the ending but i really loved their dynamic in the early - mid stages when it was more like siblings, and she literally told him he is what she’d want in a brother

like, hes edgy and childish and has weird incest stuff going on. thats the whole plot. i literally dont see any future developments for a while (or any major ones at least) besides him harassing women to get back in the womb
since this got an update for some reason i reread it and it’s still as beautiful as the first time i read it. all i can really say is i know it’s supposed to be a happy ending, but the fact that her trauma affected who she chose to love, and the fact she never got to see her real beauty, only accepting the faux ugliness that her mom put on her. acceptance is good, but not of something that wasn’t even real. of course, im sure she loves the bull (or whatever his name was haha), but she chose him because she thought she couldnt eat him.
am i the only one who reallyy likes that aspect of this story? it is a bit difficult to keep up with but the worldbuilding in this is so good, i actually got a bit bored after that because it started feeling like filler. also where did the ghosts go
i actually really do like freya as a character and hope she gets a redemption arc, a good saying is that if u really fucking hate a character it means they were well written. i can totally understand her jealousy too, but i cant stand her on a surface level
i hate the fandom but i really like the manga / anime. theres soo many little details that just make me cry, like yuki taking the role of the protector rather than yuno in the first world, and the little details between the different world selves. its rlly nostalgic
literally the best manga i’ve read in ages, and i reread it at least once every couple of months, and it’s still as good as the first time i read it. mikako is one of the best characters i’ve seen in a while, she’s so well written and her psych is so interesting. honestly she reminds me of how i was when i was in middle school and read lolita for the first time— and that line she says in the end, “after all i’m a happy twenty year old and this is what my body wants”. i love it so much her growth was so good, i was genuinely terrified of her not having a happy ending. i reallyyy love the mc too, it was so fun watching her get comfortable with her own femininity
