not saying its justified because she could just mind her business, but i think because she cant live a "normal" life considering her parents situation, she doesnt want haebeom to go through the same thing after all hes went thru on top of how people in other towns nearby already treat him ... i think that was her connection ? although i feel like a lot of it comes from just her own self pity and trauma.. i could see some concern for the man and how people view him especially since hes done a lot for her and her gma (and others). BUT still what she said at the end about not supporting them is just as harsh
