I genuinely am getting pissed off with Karl’s inner monologues. It literally hogs panels for NO REASON.
Ash asking If it’s too much and Karl going: “Is it too much? No, it isn’t too much.” In his MIND actually pissed me OFF LMAOO. WHY—WHY DID WE HAVE TO READ THAT?!??? That took up TWO PANELS?? And sometimes he just repeats himself, especially when he does stuff like: “This is my first time...” I could get drunk by the amount of times he says that—the amount of times he’s THOUGHT about it actually. It’s just driving me crazy. Because a chapter could just be panels upon panels of a character asking/telling Karl something and him going on this long inner monologue just to verbally say “No/Yes/Not really.” Like we could have just been SHOWN his response. Man I don’t know. I might just be nitpicky, but I’m starting to believe that’s why we’re always just left with these cliffhangers that USUALLY ALWAYS END WITH ASH SAYING/QUESTIONING SOMETHING. It’s becoming redundant.
