NPC Charlotte is so hot! I don’t like how FL turns into a doormat for ML, no matter the psychological factors at play.
I’m not feeling ML, he’s a doormat who blindly obeys all of his evil masters whims—including the slaughter of many innocent lives. He’s literally a war criminal, so no, u cannot make me feel sry for u. It all falls on his own horrible decisions in life.
Honestly, I get why the game system is so determined to punish him. Even if its motives aren’t rooted in justice, it feels like he’s getting exactly what he deserves. The nerve of him to act like some morally righteous person when his hands are drenched in blood.
It pissed me off how he continuously stopped Charlotte from teaching those bandits a well deserved lesson.
Sigh ngl I might just prefer her NPC self. I was so hyped for an MC who seemed like a true villain, but she’s becoming more human as the system strips away her buffs for breaking the rules.
Still, it’s a really fun survival read! To keep things interesting, they both need to go yandere—which ofc won’t happen.
