ngl I thought this too but the monk that Kuni was being raped by was an old man and Ankei's master was young when he was killed by Daija so it is not the same person. Also it says that Ankei's master went into the woods himself and was killed by Daija. Daija went into the village to eat the old monk that raped Kuni, so I do not think it is the same person. But i think this is why he hates monks and why maybe he decided to eat the master.
That was my first thought as well! It just makes a lot more sense
