I liked the novel more, even though the art is so immaculate but honestly, their first kiss, as TOXIC as it might be, is so sensual and so real lol. I still go back and read it. In the novel, it’s even more prolonged but I just LOVE a good kiss scene not a peck not a 3 panel kiss but a whole goddamn chapter of just kissing…Garon’s longing and desire were so delicious to see. I love their first kiss scene and subsequently all other kiss scenes too. I liked the novel quite a lot. And yes it’s toxic, but it’s fun. You know what to expect so I never expected anything else than what happens. The story is predictable but I love it.

Season 1 and 2 feel like completely different stories and characters. I honestly feel the author doesn’t know how to take the story ahead and is relying solely on cliches and sex scenes to drive the plot forward or maybe I’m wrong but season 1 was so unique and funny and all of this isn’t. His trauma has been forgotten, the plot is all over the place they made up too soon and in a weird manner and now this…I think the chasing arc should’ve been better, and then it would’ve been better if we got to know fluffy heads background a bit and our MC to be more…idk, him. This new rival is also only there to induce jealousy for fluffy head, wasted potential. Idk.

This story...surprisingly went a steep downhill for me. Particularly because of how goddamn self-righteous Haejun is...something about it is pissing me off. Like am I the only one who remembers Mr. Ji'S backstory and why he ended up that way...I can feel the author just brushing over it and painting him as the villain completely. It's not that black and white.
Also can he stop being judgemental for 1 second and try to understand him if he's your partner? He doesn't understand Mr.ji, he doesn't accept him, he just wants him to be like him. Maybe I just hate controlling behaviour even if it's to "turn" someone "good". Idk. I feel the author got bored halfway through the story and now they want to rely on clichés to end it.
Also it seems rushed too...I don't like how controlling Haejun is (especially when he was unsure of his own feelings for the longest time)
I just feel like he doesn't GET Mr. Ji at all. Their chemistry hasn't improved or developed. The blonde and the boat driver have better chemistry.
Mr.Ji is still bending over backwards to sustain the relationship...idk something isn't hitting.
I feel like this story had a lot of potential but it couldn't 3xecute it properly because it was supposed to exist in the grey but it's hell bent on making it black and white. Idk. Idk.
I'm disappointed because I really thought this was a unique one at the start, I couldn't guess what was gonna happen but now it's super cliche. Idk.
I don’t remember the novel being this bland and boring justice for the novel!!!!
There's a novel? Do you have a link?
THERE'S A NOVEL??!!!????!?!?!?!?!?!
Is it finished?? (=・ω・=)
We replied at the same time??? Ahahahaha
Is it boring? I didn't think so...or is the novel just better
