I musr admit that the comment I made about Seongrik a few chapters ago is a bit harsh despite me being in the same circumtances as him.
It just kinda hits my nerve and i was projecting too much since an ex-friend did what Seongrim did to JH to me.
But unlike this bl which gave them a good closure, mine is making it worse and pushed me to the corner until i could no longer walk at the time.

But of course I'm so happy the author proved me wrong and that showed me Seongrik is a different person--he's still choose to be a better person.

Like... I'm so glad he finds his happiness.

This arc is so beautiful and kinda healed a bit of my trauma.

If only Seongrik never instigating the bullying like that. He backed Jinhyeong to a corner until he's enough.
Of course Jinhyeong is way too far too with what he said, but seriously, these two are so unfortunate in every sense.

They always realized way too late that they hurted each other.

People still dont understand that Seongrik's betrayal feelings are mainly from that glasses pos dude and Jinhyeok's father.
It stems from their glare and how they humiliated him.
Deep down, he still hasn't fully trusted Jinhyeok so that's why he's (emotionally) exploded after Jinhyeok chickened out and refuse to runaway together that very night.

Again, Seongrik's pain is justified. BUT ONLY HIS PAIN. He then betrayed Jinhyeok by doing something far worse than Jinhyeok ever did.

How could he did all that and still demand Jinhyeok to choose him? He's throwing a tantrum because Jinhyeok is not suffering as "bad" as he did.

Their friendship will only got worsen if they are still friends due to Seongrik still feeling that way. It's a good thing they parted ways.
Seongrik needs therapy first and foremost. And ofc Jinhyeok too (but thank God he met Uyun).

Sorry but Seongrik is clearly acted way too out of line here. Him feeling hurt and betrayed is normal. He thought JH would be in line with their original plan to runaway. As a kid from abusive household, having someone you can return to is so precious.
So I do get it when he's hurt by JH's refusal.

But it's not like Jinhyeong is at fault either.
It's only normal he got confused and still longing for his family. He's right when he said his father is still a family--though not a good one.
I still think it's unfair of Seongrik to ask Jinhyeong to move out right there and then.
It was so sudden. They are just a fucking kid. Jinhyeong chickening out is so valid because he's still not in a desperate situation yet.

And for him to turn on Jinhyeong 180° by bullying him like that is much more worse that Jinhyeong refusal to runaway.
