I just binge read it today and I would definitely recommend you read it. I was a bit concerned since it got dropped but the main couple storyline is completed in the 1st season in a satisfying manner

I guess you read it wrong, the uke asked 《why the word youth (in japanese) is written with the character for blue, they could have used other colors》to that the seme replies that for him 《youth is gold》referring to the uke's blond hair, meaning that for him the other guy is his youth... I would say
