literally don’t understand how so many of y’all have managed to turn gyeol into some manipulative pos, stringing winter along. he absolutely isn’t. he cares about winter, and has romantic feelings towards him as well. he doesn’t want to put either of them at risk by beginning a relationship. gyeol has tried to take care of winter. has he always gone about it in the right way? no! still, he’s tried his best, and given the circumstances he’s helped a lot. like, seriously, it can be really hard to help someone dealing with trauma & mental health issues. you want them to better, as soon as possible. its tough. gyeol has been selfish in some ways; still, he isn’t some asshole. he’s treating winter the same as he had been before winter confessed. he cares about him. i don’t see it as “he’s stringing him along,” but i can absolutely understand why winter would feel as though he’s getting mixed signals. i can understand and empathize with both of their perspectives. neither of them are bad, at most they’re just a bit emotionally stunted. definitely not manipulative, or malicious in any way. they care about one another, and they’re sweet together. if yall want an actual pos, go read jinx. until then, can’t wait to see these two as boyfriends ^^
