This went pretty realistic for a police officer, if you can't beat them join them. I agree on the author's comment about them not having that much depth together like I wanna know the deep dive on their backstories. But it was intended to be a short story, with no sides but we can change that if this blows up more.
I predicted the climax of the story when he kept talking about how calculated he is coz this guy fr just went in without a contingency plan. Like be fr, he's a police officer and not an op special ops character that became some part of an S class underground asassination squad.
I liked the character design esp the bad guy, he looks referenced and inspired. The story and illustrations made me react how it's supposed to be so I'm satisfied. I'm not really an open ending girly if it's about a cliffhanger though... The time skip was erm but I wanna see more of the author's creations.
Obviously this is not a romance bl but it's different and interesting because it sparks conversations. He found his secret labubu after 10 yrs, it's like tamagotchi for people who does human trafficking.
