I think it's more to the fact that we know she won't really do anything nasty and the prince is actually sober? But true though.. lots of the time people overlook situation like this if a girl did it as if its okay #－.－)
To be fair he didn't really give her chance to explain or asked what kind of drink it was. She tried to stop him from drinking another glass, but failed. It's not like she actively hid the fact it was wine.
