actually was surprised how much i enjoyed this, but i honestly agree with a lot of the comments here. a lot of things left unsaid (as to be expected with a lot of ~6 chaptered bls/yaois, thankfully this had 2 volumes), one of the better ones for sure as of recently imo, and ofc things absolutely should've been more fleshed out
their relationship is a little weird, i couldn't help but think baba only began liking ibuki bc he saved his sister's life, and ibuki falling in love (and staying in love!) bc baba have him some advice but didn't even bother to remember him is a little... yeah
i do like a timid personality, but as others said ibuki could've had a bigger backbone? ig? but i can't be one to talk LOL. baba had a legit and valid concern about ibuki returning to his og world bc shit, yeah i would be worried too
also it's kind of sad he still called ibuki 'soba-kun' even after months of dating and being in love baba being butthurt noah tried using is was cute, but the origin is kinda ehhhh
like others are saying, there's not right or wrong way to their situation, it's not black or white.
haebom's dad was actively forgetting things that he would've normally wouldn't have forgotten, it could be considered a miracle he even made it back home to get a treatment that not even his doctor was confident in, and still ended up in a coma with memory loss after he woke up.
was it maybe wrong and selfish to basically abandon his wife and child? yes, but not for that intentional ir selfish reason itself. could he have said something? yes of course, but he was dying, his brain getting essentially eaten, he didn't even remember her name.
he would've rather been painted as the bad guy who abandoned his family rather then let them suffer with him (hyeonji would've had to take care of him AND haebom). it took him DECADES (3!!) to get better, let alone remember her, he's 60 something and just remembered her a year prior for goodness sake.
it wasn't fair for anyone, both parties were going suffer, and have suffered.
