You can read the novel fully translated in English for free on Yoru Reader. I was going to spoil but the translation is good and complete so there’s no reason not to read it. The ending is very sweet and the plot twist is really interesting; read it for yourself to enjoy!

    If not, here’s the ending:

    *spoilers for ending*

*long because theres at least a solid 25 chapters left in comic, maybe more*

When Mc (Willow) and Fl (Serena) are at the Aquarium, Mc’s coworker’s husband comes to kill Fl as revenge for helping the coworker get away from him (in the novel Fl’s company is able to get her away from abuse somehow iirc). Mc jumps in front of the bullet and dies.

Mc wakes up in her original world because remember she woke up as the Mc in a novel. Now she’s not in the novel, she’s a college student who fell asleep reading the novel at University. Mc doesn’t remember anything about Fl or what happened, and just thinks it was a weird dream that she barely remembers.

Mc’s friend at University is also the girl who liked Kiki in the novel (I forgot her name lol) and she drags Mc to an author signing for the novel she reincarnated into. Mc isn’t really interested but just goes bc her friend wants to. When they go they meet the author, who is older than them and also graduated from their university 5-10 years ago. The author asks Mc some questions which Mc thinksnis kind of weird, but otherwise thinks the author is cool/respectable. But Mc leaves, pretty sure she won’t interact with the author again.

The author is actually FL, and she remembers everything that happened. They actually lived out the events in the novel and when Mc died Fl was heartbroken. (I don’t remember how/if Fl died) Basically, Fl reincarnated into the real world too, but she reincarnated 5-10 years before Mc did, and had no idea how to find her. Fl spent years trying to find Mc and wrote the novel based on their lives to try to find Mc…but Mc didn’t remember and actually wasn’t a huge fan of the novel. Lol. In the process of looking for Mc, Fl attended the university and found Kiki, Mc’s friend who had died, also reincarnated with her memories. Kiki was looking for her love interest (forgot her name again lol) who ends up as Mc’s best friend. But since Fl and Kiki are older than those two, they weren’t able to find them in university until the book signing event which was unintentional.

Fl tells Kiki she’s going to get Mc back and Kiki supports her. Mc and Fl run into each other a few times and have good conversation. Fl knows who Mc is, all the names in the novel are the same. At one point she teases Mc about having the same name. Fl says they’ve met in a past life, that’s why its so accurate. Mc doesnt believe her and says she’s nothing like her character in the book. Lol. Mc gets a huge crush on Fl FAST. She still doesn’t remember. Fl tells her she wrote the novel to “find her first love again”. Mc doesn’t know it’s her yet.

Somehow (I don’t remember how this happens lol) Mc attends a conference for school. It might be for an internship or something. But Mc is away from school. While at the conference Mc and her friend run into Fl and Kiki at the bar. While at the bar, Fl orders peach brandy and explains its her favorite. Bc Mc is younger and has a crush on Fl at this point (and wants to be seen as mature), Mc drinks some and then gets really drunk. Bc she’s drunk she says a lot of stuff like “do you like me?!” Fl says of course. Mc complains about how Fl “has a first love already but my first love is you!” Fl thinks its funny. Mc falls asleep and the next day Fl asks her to date her.

When theyre at the bar and while theyre dating (it doesn’t take long after they start) Mc occasionally smells mint in the air which jogs her memory a bit. Over time she slowly recalls her memory until she suddenly remembers everything one day. From here on it’s fluff until Mc and Fl eventually get married.

As a side story, after Mc and Fl get married, one day the original version of Mc, the evil one, appears in front of Mc. Mc brings her home feeling bad, and they raise her as their child for a few months while helping her work through her issues. The evil Mc is 16 while Mc and Fl are like 23 and 28. It’s a heartwarming story.

There’s a side story with Kiki and Qiao Ni but I didn’t read that myself so I can’t explain it.

The way this manga is probably one of the best yuri mangas I’ve ever read. It really just remains a comfort, and I feel very sad everytime I remember that the only reason we don’t have more is because of some loose plagiarism claims. Like poses and backgrounds…are you serious? Prism deserved to have at least 20 chapters. The prematurity of the end is so disappointing.

Wait that’s the reason it’s so short??? What did people claim the mangaka was plagiarizing? :/. At best, it looks like they used 3D models as reference for posing

There were some magazine spreads of models and backgrounds that the artist traced. That’s it. Literally just poses and backgrounds for things like cover pieces.

    That’s so lameeeee.

Araki has referenced so many artistic models for poses and artist names + songs for stands in JoJo but no one cares . I get references and tracings is different but imo it doesn’t seem that serious

It’s mostly due to the time period this was released in unfortunately. Iirc this was released around 2012-2014, and back then it was more frowned upon to reference things like that. Now it’s generally accepted. It was a pretty poor reason to cancel such a good manga.

Ohhhh that makes sense. It was a different time back then ( ̄∇ ̄). Ty for explaining! This story was one of my first GL manga a long time ago and I was always hoping that there were more chapters or smth that weren’t translated :’)

I can’t help but think that the letter Anti had builds up to that! Even when she tells him, “I have a kid your age!” It feels more like she’s referring to him and not her son. I think that may be the plot twist, kind of cliche but it makes the drama a lot worse. It would also explain why Hanwool’s dad placed a lot of effort on him graduating school without issue—if that’s what his mother wanted for him before they separated then of course he’d oblige. Hanwool Phi, you got your mother killed? How cruel.
